The LTTE terrorists have suffered heavy damages in the string of air strikes launched by Sri Lanka Air Force fighter jets at the Kilinochchi LTTE defence line since this morning (Dec 13).
According to Air Force spokesman Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara, nine air strikes were launched at the LTTE strongholds in the Kilinochchi and Paranthan area since 6.30 AM to 3 PM.
He said citing operational sources that a senior female LTTE leader was killed in the air strikes.
